Gyan Jyoti Kendra is a young, non-profit organization incorporated in the state of New Hampshire in the USA in December 2011. Our mission is to educate, empower and advocate for the Nepali-speaking community living in North America. Gyan Jyoti Kendra also aims to promote Nepali culture, language, heritage, and arts.
To achieve its mission, Gyan Jyoti Kendra develops, publishes and distributes a variety of hardcopy and on-line Nepali language and bilingual (English and Nepali) educational materials that address issues, including everyday life in North America, health, education, civic affairs, etc. In the future Gyan Jyoti Kendra hopes to expand its reach to address the needs of the global Nepali diaspora.
